Honda is finally putting a firm timeline behind its high-performance aftermarket ambitions. After initially announcing back in 2024 that its prestigious Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) division would begin offering a dedicated catalog of factory-backed performance parts for Honda and Acura street vehicles, the automaker has confirmed when enthusiasts will actually be able to buy them. Following a series of exciting concept previews—including the track-focused Acura Integra Type S HRC prototype and a rugged Passport HRC rally-inspired concept—Honda has announced that the official HRC Performance Parts line will make its grand debut at the 2026 SEMA show in Las Vegas, with commercial sales set to kick off in March 2027.

When the program officially rolls out next year, the initial catalog will launch with three distinct, engineering-intensive components tailored to some of the brand’s most popular enthusiast-oriented cars and SUVs. Rather than offering purely cosmetic accessories, HRC has leaned heavily on its extensive motorsport pedigree, collaborating with renowned racing suppliers and putting its components through rigorous track testing in demanding environments like Germany’s legendary Nürburgring.
The first major offering in the new HRC Performance Parts lineup is a lightweight 19×10-inch forged-aluminum wheel designed specifically for the high-performance Honda Civic Type R and the luxurious Acura Integra Type S. Coming in half an inch wider than the standard factory wheels, this premium wheel was developed in partnership with Italian engineering firm 2elle-engineering. Notably, 2elle-engineering is no stranger to top-tier motorsport development, as the company also supplies the wheels used on the formidable Acura ARX-06 hybrid race car competing in top-flight endurance racing.

To honor that racing heritage, the new wheel features a refined gray finish and an intricate thin-spoke design that closely mirrors the aesthetic of the ARX-06 wheels. However, buyers looking for a deeper nod to Honda’s storied motorsport history can also opt for a bronze finish. This specific hue serves as a direct tribute to the Honda RA272, the historic machine that became the very first Japanese car to win a Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Beyond its visual appeal, the wheel offers substantial performance advantages. Weighing in at just 20.8 pounds, it is an impressive 5.5 pounds lighter per corner than the standard factory wheel. This dramatic reduction in unsprung mass directly improves suspension responsiveness and agility. Furthermore, the wheel was extensively tested at the grueling Nürburgring circuit in Germany. Along with shedding weight, the wheel features an increased negative offset, which widens the track width at both the front and rear axles to enhance overall cornering stability and grip. The wheel is fully compatible with 2023-and-newer Honda Civic Type R models and 2024-and-newer Acura Integra Type S vehicles.

Shifting focus from the tarmac to the trail, HRC has also developed a robust 18×8-inch forged-aluminum off-road wheel engineered for utility and adventure. This rugged wheel is designed for the 2026-and-newer Passport and the 2023-and-newer Pilot SUVs. For this project, HRC collaborated with Titan 7, a trusted partner that has supplied the specialized wheels used during HRC’s competitive runs at the demanding Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
According to HRC, these off-road wheels are manufactured using aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum and are forged under a staggering 10,000 tons of pressure. This extreme manufacturing process yields exceptional structural strength while keeping overall weight to an absolute minimum. Each individual off-road wheel allows for an increase of 220 pounds in load capacity compared to the factory-equipped wheel, making them ideal for overland travel and heavy-duty utility. Buyers can choose between Machine Black or Techna Bronze finishes, with authentic "Honda Racing" branding meticulously machined directly into the face of the wheel.

Complementing the new off-road wheels is a specialized exhaust system developed through a partnership with Borla. Also targeted at the Passport and Pilot SUVs, this tuned cat-back exhaust system is engineered to optimize both performance and acoustics. HRC states that the new setup increases exhaust flow rate by up to 6 percent, helping the engine breathe more freely.
To give the family-friendly SUVs a more assertive and sophisticated voice, the system incorporates Borla’s signature "Polyphonic Harmonizer" technology. This acoustic engineering highlights the distinct, rich sound of Honda’s naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V-6 engine rather than merely making it louder or raspy. Additionally, the exhaust features a compact routing design that improves vehicle ground clearance by up to 1.9 inches, ensuring that off-road capability is not compromised by low-hanging pipes. The exhaust tips are finished with the distinctive HRC logo, providing a subtle yet clear indication of the vehicle’s upgraded hardware.

When the HRC Performance Parts line officially goes on sale in March 2027, customers will be able to purchase the components directly through authorized Honda and Acura dealerships, as well as digitally through Honda’s online "DreamShop" platform.
Looking further ahead, Honda has confirmed plans to steadily expand the breadth of the HRC catalog. The automaker has signaled that future additions will be previewed as prototypes at upcoming SEMA shows. Among the hardware currently in development for later release are fully adjustable coilovers, a high-performance Brembo brake kit featuring robust six-piston calipers, and a crisp short-throw shifter designed to sharpen the manual driving experience in Honda’s performance models.
